Ready to play/embarrass yourself? Signing up is easy. First, you'll create an account. Then you'll pick your teams. You can also create your own group(s) and invite your friends and coworkers to play. Once the games begin, you can log in at any time to track your scores and send messages to other participants.

1 - Signing up to play the online bracket
To sign up, visit the sign up page and fill out the requested information. You will be asked to create a username (screen name) and a password. You will use this username and password to log in and check your scores and rankings during the tournament.

2 - Filling out your bracket online
Approximately one hour after selections are made on Sunday, March 13th, you can log in and make your picks. Enter your username and password. Click on the "Bracket" link and select "My Picks" from the drop-down menu. When the bracket screen loads, simply click on the name of the team that you think will win each game. You must choose a winner for all 63 games in the tournament. In addition, you must enter the number of points that the winning team will score in the championship game. This will be used to award prizes in the event of a tie. If a tie occurs, the entrant who chooses the score closest to the actual score without going over will be declared the winner.

We will send out an email reminder to you after selections are made on Sunday if you have signed up but not yet filled out your online bracket. You can make changes to your bracket until 30 minutes before the tip off of the first game on Thursday, March 17th. Once the tournament begins, you will be able to view your picks, but you will not be able to make any changes.

3 - Creating/Joining Groups
Keeping track of how well your picks are performing vs. your friends' and coworkers' picks is as easy as creating a group and inviting them to join (assuming all group members have filled out their bracket online). By creating a group with 10 or more participants, your group will qualify for entry into the group prize competition. The group with the highest overall average score will win the group prize. In the event of a tie, the prize will go to the group with the group member who has the best individual score. If there is still a tie, the winning group will be determined by a random drawing.

To create a group, you must already be signed up to participate in the tournament. (see 1 - Signing up to play the online bracket) You can join as many groups as you want, however, you cannot join or leave any group after 30 minutes before the tip off of the first game on Thursday, March 17th.

To create a group, click on the "Groups" link and select "Create Group" from the drop down menu. Enter your group name and then create your group password. Once your group has been created, you will have the opportunity to send an email with the group name and password to your friends and coworkers to invite them to join your group.

To join an existing group you must first log in. To log in, enter your username and password in the log in area on the home page and click the "Log In" button. Once you are logged in, you can click on the "Groups" link and select "Join/Leave Group" from the drop down menu. Enter the group name you would like to join and enter the password for that group. Click "Join/Leave Group."

You can leave a group any time up until 30 minutes before the tip off of the first game on Thursday, March 17th. To leave a group, you must first be logged in. To log in, enter your username and password in the log in area on the home page and click the "Log In" button. Once you are logged in, you can click on the "Groups" link and select "Join/Leave Group" from the drop down menu. Enter the group name and password for the group that you want to leave and click "Leave Group."

4 - Keeping track of your score
Once the tournament begins, you can log in at any time to check your score, the leaderboard and your group leaderboard.
